ICGB launches the last key public procurement for selection of a consultant for construction supervision over the gas interconnector with Greece
The role of the selected consultant will include construction supervision throughout the construction phase and until acceptance and commissioning of the construction
ICGB AD launches procedure with subject “Selection of a consultant for construction supervision for construction of gas interconnector Greece-Bulgaria”.
The estimated value of the public procurement is BGN 1.3 mln. VAT exclusive and the term for implementation of the public procurement ends with entering into operation of the interconnector. The selection of a consultant for construction supervision will be made through opened procedure, which would allow offer submission by all interested parties that comply with the criteria for pre-selection. The deadline for offer submission is 26.11.2018.
The role of the selected consultant will include construction supervision throughout the construction phase and until acceptance and commissioning of the construction. His duties will also include preparing regular monthly reports and one final report on the construction, as well as making appropriate assessment and technical control of part Constructive pursuant to Art. 142, paragraph 10 of the SDA. The consultant will also provide assistance to the project company in the procedure for coordination and approving the detailed investment project drafted by the contractor under the engineering contract.
This is the last key public procurement before the IGB project enters its final stage of realization – construction. “We’ve been working actively on finalizing the remaining key procedures before entering the constriction phase. The project is of great importance not only to Bulgaria and Greece, but to the entire region and its successful implementation will ensure the gas connectivity in Central and Southern Europe as well as a possibility for diversification of supplies”, said the Executive Officers of ICGB Teodora Georgieva and Konstantinos Karayannakos.
ICGB will grant unlimited, complete, free and direct electronic access to the documentation for the public procurement from the date of publication of the announcement in the Official Journal of the European Union on the grounds of art. 32, para 1, item 1 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA). The decision and the contract notice are published at the Registry of Public Procurement to the Public Procurement Agency, as well as at the buyer’s profile of the Contracting Entity on the day of their publication pursuant to Article 24, Para 1, Item 1 of the Rules for Implementing the Public Procurement Act.
